this morning i woke up thinking about cancer and blogs. 

very strange.  I made my boyfriend (or fiance, rather, although the both of us don't like that word.  not that we don't like the sound of getting married.  we just think the word 'fiance' sounds snobbish) drive 23 miles to La Mirada.  It's a town we've never been to before, but it held the closest movie theater that was still playing My Sister's Keeper.  I guess this theater gets all the movies that have been out for a while, because they were also still playing Star Trek, and Night At The Museum.  Tickets were $2. 

I wanted to see it because it had a song of mine in it, and I had yet to hear my song play in a movie at a theater.  The movie was beautiful.  Great performances all around.  Great writing.  When my song came on my hands got all sweaty and I was squeezing my boyfriend's arm really hard.  It was fun to hear it like that, but also sort of scary.  But fun..........but also scary.............but fun!

And I think I thought of blogs because I just discovered Google Reader, which keeps all the blogs you like to read in one place.  Exciting.....right?!

Yesterday, I recorded a cover song that came by suggestion from twitter and myspace (sorry facebook, you're next on my list, but i lost the password!).  I don't like how it came out though, so I think I'll try another song.  :/  I'll make a video blog about it. 

I read the Sunday paper this morning, and a particular story in it made me very ill. 

I think, if my music career drys up one day, I'll go to college and become a school guidance counselor.
